Richard Putnam, DMD

Dr. Richard Putnam earned his D.M.D. degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Putnam completed his residency and fellowship in general dentistry at the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine. He is also a fellow from the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Academy of General Dentistry. He believes in three virtues that attribute to the love of his profession – healing, compassion, and caring. To him, dentistry is a fulfilling and rewarding career, and provides him with an opportunity to make people comfortable and happy with their smile and overall oral health.

Dr. Putnam is fluent in Spanish and can also speak some “dental useful words” in Polish. Outside of the office, Dr. Putnam enjoys spending time with his wife and seven children, playing at the beach, bike riding, boating, and fishing. He also appreciates wood working, the arts, and cooking. Dr. Putnam believes that having seven children is the most wonderful thing in the world and makes him unique.
