Brush Your Teeth Twice a Day

Brush or Scrape Your Tongue
This will remove any residue buildup that could be residing between your taste buds. It’s very important to get rid of that, because it’s one of the leading causes of bad breath.
Use Fluoride Mouth Rinse
After brushing your teeth, you should rinse your mouth with a fluoride rinse instead of water. This not only saves your enamel, but also freshens your breath. However, if you have chronic bad breath, this will only be a temporary solution and you should see your dentist for next steps.
Drink 6-8, 8oz Glasses of Water Daily
By drinking six to eight glasses of water daily, you’ll be able to prevent dry mouth. It’ll also help keep odors under control by washing away food particles and bacteria that may have built up.
Snack on Carrots, Celery or Apples
These snacks actually help your breath by building up the saliva in your mouth and washing away bacteria. They also prevent bad breath that is caused by hunger.
This unique technique doesn’t help you have minty-fresh breath, but it does aid in getting rid of bad breath. Due to the high levels of chlorophyll, it neutralizes your bad breath completely.
Rinse Your Mouth Out
While fluoride rinses help mask the issue, drinking green tea can actually suppress the growth of bacteria in your mouth, reducing associated odors.
Quit Smoking and Avoid Tobacco Products
Smoking causes bad breath, as simple as that. The tobacco dries out your mouth and leaves a bad smell that doesn’t go away even after brushing your teeth.

Visiting your dentist regularly helps make sure you’re maintaining good oral health habits and prevents problems from arising.
