Naseema Maiary, DDS
Dr. Maiary is from Karachi,Pakistan and earned her first dental degree from the University of Karachi. In 2002 she came to the U.S. to start her General Practice Residency Program, the first year at St Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury CT and a second year at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. On returning to Connecticut, she started working with the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine as an Associate Professor and was Director of the Conncept Pilot project that incorporated undergrad student and graduate residents in the same clinical environment. She moved to Private practice in 2014 and has been part time in private practice since then.
She is currently still working as a part-time professor at University of Connecticut, where she provides clinical instruction to the post-graduate residents and undergraduate students.
When not working Dr. Maiary enjoys time with her 2 daughters, gardening, being outdoors and working with local charities to serve underprivileged community members .
