Tina Liang, DMD

Dr. Tina Liang graduated from Wellesley College (Summa Cum Laude). She obtained her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania/Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (Magna Cum Laude) ranked 3 rd in her class with highest honors in Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry given to a senior dental student. Dr. Liang completed a General Practice Residency at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and its affiliated hospitals: the Brigham and Women’s, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Beth Israel Deacones Medical Center and Boston Children’s hospital, as well as Chief Resident and Dental Consultant for the medically compromised patients at the Harvard Affiliated Hospitals.

During her education, Dr. Liang has received multiple academic scholarship awards. She is the distinguished member of Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Xi, Omicon Kappa Upsilon Academy, and the International College of Dentists. Due to her extensive training, she was asked to be the General Practice Residency Director at Albert Einstein Medical Center, an affiliate of University of Pennsylvania and Temple. There, she developed the program from infancy to one of the largest and respected program in the nation for over a decade. She was the American Dental Association Accreditation site visitor teaching other GPR program directors.

In her professional career, Dr. Liang has continued to strive for clinical excellence as evident by her various awards from students, residents and societies. Currently, she is an Assistant Clinical Professor teaching dental students in Farmington, CT. Dr. Liang has lectured locally and nationally on Oral Medicine related topics. Dr. Liang has three decades of experience in private practice in Comprehensive Family Dentistry with a special interest in Cosmetics, Dental Implant Dentistry and phobic patients. Dr. Liang came to the states from Hong Kong, quickly learned the English language. She has always wanted to be a doctor and help others. She is the first college graduate and doctor in her family. For fun, Dr. Liang likes to draw, paint and spend time with family. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and proficient in Spanish.
